Make your own doll using husks from the corn plant, one of the most sacred and important crops to Indigenous peoples.

All parts of the corn plant are used for a variety of purposes, including for play and for fun. Participants will hear the origin story of the corn husk dolls and will make their own from stratch, from softening the husks in water, to styling the figurine’s clothes, hair, and any other creative details.

The final creation is a simple yet beautiful doll that can be played with or displayed. Enjoyed by anyone 5+.
