PlayPenn and Native Voices at the Autry are hosting a play development workshop called INDIGENOUS CIRCLES, taking place between May 26th and June 6th, 2021. Indigenous Circles will highlight the development of new work by Indigenous playwrights. This collaboration diversifies and decolonizes American Theatre by amplifying the voices of the original inhabitants. We will workshop 2 plays, Feathers by J R Mathews and Desert Stories For Lost Girls by Lily Rushing. Each workshop will consist of approximately 25 hours of rehearsal, including a public reading. All rehearsals and readings will take place online. Positions are paid.
