April 16, 2023 | 12:00p - 6:30p | 1219 Vine St, Philadelphia, PA With designers Tanner Jock, Joy Tonepahhote, and Melanie Tonepahhote, you’ll create a beautiful ribbon skirt of your own. Sewing experience is not required. Free and open to the Indigenous community of Philadelphia and beyond. Lunch will be provided. Pow Wow Dance Class in Philly
April 23 and April 30, 2023 | 2:30 - 4:30p | 1219 Vine St, 2nd Floor, Philadelphia, PA Join us for a meaningful, fun, and energizing powwow dance class, taught by Vaughnda Hilton of Native Nations Dance Theater. We’ll learn and practice many styles of powwow and social dances. All skill levels welcome, so bring your family and friends for a beautiful day of dance and community.
